How is Web3 Different?
Web3 differs from its predecessors in several ways
Decentralization: In Web3, applications are built on top of decentralized networks, which distribute data and computational tasks across many nodes. This is different from the centralized servers that power most of today's web applications.
User Control: Users of Web3 applications have direct control over their own data, assets, and identities. This contrasts with Web 2.0, where platforms typically control user data.
Interoperability: Web3 aims to create a universal library of protocols and standards that applications can use to communicate and share data. This makes it easier for applications to work together seamlessly.
Economic Incentives: Web3 applications often have built-in economic systems, usually in the form of tokens, which incentivize users to participate and contribute to the network.
