Phase 2 Overview

• Duration: 12 months (Ends June 2025)

• Total Rewards: 10 Billion BLAST

• Objectives:

  • Support the development of mobile Dapps

  • Incentivize users to use these Dapps via the Blast App

Key Highlights

1. Big Bang Competition

   • Start Date: August

   • Rewards: Gold rewards, cash funding, co-marketing opportunities

   • Eligibility: New Dapps can participate

   • Duration: 3 months

   • Focus: Mobile Dapps

   • Launch: Teams can launch their Dapps before, during, or after the competition

   • New Dapps: Eligible for Big Bang rewards if new to Phase 2

2. Gold Allocation for New Dapps

   • Contact: New Dapps can get in contact via the provided link

   • Distribution: Monthly in the first week of every month

   • Requirement: Dapps must fully distribute their Gold each month to receive the next batch

Rewards Distribution

• Blast Points: 5 Billion BLAST

  • Earning: Based on ETH, WETH, USDB, and BLAST balances

  • Rate: 0.06504987 Points/Block/ETH (Each block is 2 seconds)

  • Distribution: Pro-rata based on contract balances

  • Integration: Dapps must integrate the Points API

• Blast Gold: 5 Billion BLAST

  • Distribution: Monthly, starting July 8

  • Dapp Ranking Factors: Category, Blast nativeness, traction/execution, incentive design

  • Separate Allocations: For already live Dapps and new Dapps

  • Bonus Allocation: For Dapps using BLAST in a novel and significant way

Methodology

• Ranking Factors:

  • Category: Weight varies based on ecosystem priorities

  • Blast Nativeness: Score based on exclusivity to Blast

  • Dapp Score: Based on on-chain metrics, general execution, community feedback, and use of Blast-native yield/gas fee sharing

  • Incentive Score: Measures effectiveness in distributing Gold and transparency

Categories

  • Prediction Markets

  • Spot DEX

  • Perp DEX

  • Lending

  • SocialFi

  • Gaming

  • GambleFi

  • NFT Infrastructure

  • RWA

  • Miscellaneous

Blast Nativeness

• Scores: 1, 1.5, or 2 based on exclusivity

• Purpose: Reward Dapps focused on Blast

Dapp Score

• Ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum

• Factors:

  • On-chain metrics (Flipside/Dune dashboards recommended)

  • General execution

  • Community feedback

  • Use of Blast-native yield/gas fee sharing

• Focus: Mobile Dapps, especially after the launch of the Blast App in Q4

Incentive Score

• Factors:

  • Thoughtfulness and effectiveness of incentive design

  • Clarity and communication of criteria

  • Compliance with distribution guidelines

• Common Issues:

  • Incentivizing project’s token or NFT with Gold

  • Using Gold to directly incentivize revenue to the team or DAO

  • Suspicious distributions (e.g., allocations to insiders or KOLs)
